Currently, our most urgent need is for every parent and teacher to think about Donation Solicitation. For the last 13 years, our auction has been made successful through generous donations from our Montgomery friends, families and local businesses.
- We need all the help we can get to solicit donations from local businesses that we frequent. This will be a coordinated effort, so please stay tuned for communications on this process.
- Donations from our Montgomery friends and families. Think of everyone you know: family, friends, neighbors, bosses, co-workers, and associates that own a business or perform a service that may be willing to donate. Some ideas include: Tickets to Sporting Events, Weekend Experiences, Getaways, Vacation Homes, Lessons, Artwork, Donate Airline Miles, Gift Certificates, Electronics, Services (e.g. Photography, Babysitting, Organization, etc.).
- Best of all, think of ways to donate your own time/talents or band together with MME friends and acquaintances to come up with a group donation – special parties/dinners and gift baskets have always been big sellers!
As an added bonus…the value of the donation may be tax deductible.
