THIS WEEK’S UPDATES:

Final Mustang Run Results: We raised $20,468.91 for MME! These funds go towards extracurricular and classroom programs that benefit all students at MME, such as classroom/teacher support, arts programs, STEM resources, literacy programs such as Círculo, school library support, field trips and family fun nights. THANK YOU!!!

Autumn Dance Party: Join us at 6:30pm on FRIDAY in the MPR for dancing, music and friends! All families are invited. This is not a drop off event- please stay with your child or join us on the dance floor. BYO snacks or bring cash to support the 6th grade snack shack fundraiser to help PTA pay for their 6th grade field trip.

Fall Book Fair: MME’s Fall Book Fair will be held Saturday Nov 16th – Friday Nov 22nd. During school, students will have two opportunities to visit the fair with their class: a preview on Monday, November 16th and a designated shopping time later in the week.  Your student can shop the fair cash-free with eWallet, a digital payment option offered by Scholastic. Please watch this short video to learn more. You can set up an eWallet by going to MME’s Scholastic webpage.

MME’s Auction & Dinner: Our PTA Auction Committee is hard at work planning for the upcoming event on Feb. 8! More details will be coming soon, but in the meantime we’re collecting baskets to use in our silent auction displays. If you’ve won an auction basket in the past, or have extra gifting baskets around your house, we’d love to collect basket donations of all sizes! Resultados finales de Mustang Run: ¡recaudamos $20,468.91 para MME! Estos fondos se destinan a programas extracurriculares y de aula que benefician a todos los estudiantes de MME, como apoyo para el aula y los maestros, programas de arte, recursos STEM, programas de alfabetización como Círculo, apoyo a la biblioteca escolar, excursiones y noches de diversión familiar. ¡GRACIAS!

Fiesta de baile de otoño: ¡Únase a nosotros a las 6:30 p. m. el VIERNES en el MPR para bailar, escuchar música y disfrutar de amigos! Todas las familias están invitadas. Este no es un evento para dejar a los niños; quédese con su hijo o únase a nosotros en la pista de baile. Traiga bocadillos o dinero en efectivo para apoyar la recaudación de fondos del puesto de bocadillos de sexto grado para ayudar a la PTA a pagar la excursión de sexto grado.

Feria del libro de otoño: la feria del libro de otoño de MME se llevará a cabo del sábado 16 de noviembre al viernes 22 de noviembre. Durante la escuela, los estudiantes tendrán dos oportunidades de visitar la feria con su clase: una vista previa el lunes 16 de noviembre y un tiempo designado para hacer compras más tarde en la semana. Su estudiante puede comprar en la feria sin efectivo con eWallet, una opción de pago digital ofrecida por Scholastic. Mire este breve video para obtener más información. Puede configurar un eWallet yendo a la página web de Scholastic de MME.

Subasta y cena de MME: ¡Nuestro Comité de subastas de la PTA está trabajando arduamente para planificar el próximo evento el 8 de febrero! Pronto habrá más detalles, pero mientras tanto, estamos recolectando canastas para usar en nuestras exhibiciones de subasta silenciosa. • Become a member of the 2023-2024 MME PTA by filling out a quick google form and paying the $12 Annual Membership fee.

• Attend monthly PTA meetings (in person or on Zoom)

• Participate in PTA fundraisers

• Do you shop at Nugget? If so, you can support MME while you shop at no cost via Nugget’s Community Scrip Program. Pick up a Nugget Scrip card at the MME office. All you do is hand your scrip card to the cashier to scan and a portion of your grocery transaction will go directly to the MME PTA.
