Currently we have no lead for this event. This event may not happen without more parent volunteers. This event normally happens in May, with practices the month or so leading up to the event.
Auditions: Prepare a 2 min (or shorter performance, act, show, or something similar). As always everyone who wants to perform or share art will be included, “auditions” are just our first chance to rehearse. Everyone should come see the show, it’s so much fun!
Art: should be completed and submitted to the MME office with the student’s Name and Grade on the art piece. The art will be placed on display the night of the variety show, and should be taken home by the artist after the who. Art of any kind, but if it will be large please let us know!
MME PTA hosts a Variety Show at our school in May every year! Students are invited to create a performance or act lasting 2 minutes or less. To tryout, simply prepare a performance of some kind that is 2 minutes or less in length. Visual artists can submit art to the office during the same period for display. We love our talented performers; this event always ends up as standing room only!
Our Variety Show also has an art component! Your student can submit an art piece to be displayed in the MPR and admired during intermission.
